Sometimes we get color inspirations from images or websites from the computer screen we are looking at. But how do we sample or grab these colors and use it with our current project inside Adobe Photoshop?
The process is actually quite simple.
1. In your open Photoshop Document, select the eyedropper tool, then click inside the document by pressing the left mouse button. Note: The location of the eyedropper tool may vary depending on the version of Photoshop you are using.
2. Then without depressing the button, drag the Eyedropper tool outside the photoshop document to sample the color anywhere on your screen. Notice that the foreground color on the toolbar keeps updating as you move around your screen. When you let go of the left button, the sampled color will be your foreground color which you can now use inside Photoshop.
