Nowadays, there are plenty of places on the Internet where you can download Photoshop Brushes. Now, in case you have already downloaded some but remained clueless what to do next, this Quick Tip will guide you thru the very simple installation process. Brushes normally come in the .abr extension and the first step that you should be doing is:
1. Drag or Place the .abr you have downloaded unto the Photoshop Brushes folder as follows:
/Users/(username)/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS3/Presets/Brushes (on Mac).
or C:/Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop/Presets/Brushes (on Windows).
2. Open Photoshop, select the Brush icon on the Menu or simply press “B” on your Keyboard. Go to option palette and click on to open the brush preset picker.
3. Click on the little triangle toggle in the upper right hand corner of the Pop-up Menu Window.
4. Lastly, click on Load Brushes and choose the .abr file you want to load and you brushes should appear in the Brush palette and just ready to use.
